What is Work Adventures Canada

Canada has long been a popular destination for many international students and young adventure seekers from around the world. Each year thousands of people take advantage of the IEC (Working Holiday Program), SAWP (Seasonal Agricultural Worker Program), Temporary Foreign Worker Visa and Study Permits. Working in Canada offers international work experience and amazing travel opportunities. It allows individuals to grow their professional network, expand their skills and make new friends.

The Program

Take advantage of the Canadian Study Permit to expand your education and gain valuable work experience. With our partner, Tamwood Careers, you will study in your desired field, gain work experience in Canada, make strategic connections in your industry, and develop skills to enhance your resume and launch your career.

You will be taught by instructors and guest speakers with real-world knowledge. Through Tamwood, you can also apply for admission with advanced standing to one of their academic pathway partners. Upon completion of your program at the pathway partner college/university, you will be eligible for a Post-Graduate Work Permit.

You can also earn money while you study to help with living expenses. No matter which program you’re in, your Canadian study permit will allow you to work part-time (up to 20 hours per week) while studying and full-time in your Co-Op work term. Tamwood Careers offers workshops, hiring fairs, and tools to assist you in finding a job.

DIPLOMA AND CERTIFICATION

If you elect the Work & Study Program Option, you can also chose from a variety of diploma and certificate programs. The programs are offered in Toronto, Vancouver or Whistler and run 27 or 48 weeks in length depending on the program you choose.
